Piedaniels
(Bakewell – 3 miles) – the top restaurant in town! Very good food, freshly-prepared in relaxing surroundings. Definitely need to book for weekend evenings (and probably during the week as well).
Le Mistral
(Bakewell - 3 miles) - French bistro-style cuisine. Quite good choice and a good value set menu at lunchtime. Also, usually, special deal on coffee and cake.
The Lathkill Hotel
(Over Haddon - 1.5 miles) has a small restaurant. Straightforward fare, reasonably priced, family-friendly. Worth booking for evening meals. Great views across towards Lathkill Dale. Ideal start or end point for a walk through this secluded nature reserve.
The Bulls Head
(Monyash - 2 miles) – Family-friendly. At the other end of the Lathkill Dale walk from Over Haddon
