Description
Proper Pasty Shop (Bakewell – 2.5 miles) – if you want a hot and filling snack to sustain you through a heavy session at Bakewell market, this is the place to go. Freshly-baked pasties with a wide range of fillings from traditional Cornish to Lamb and Mint or Broccoli and Sweetcorn to Apple and Blackcurrant. Also jacket potatoes and hot roast sandwiches.

Ibbotsons Deli (Ashford-in-the-Water – 2.5 miles) – this is one of those shops which sells everything! From newpapers, ice cream, fantastic sandwiches made to order, deli items, cakes and all the sort of grocery items you just fancy when you’re on holiday (indulgent biscuits, obscure dips, exotic sauces and flavourings, etc). They will also produce and deliver cold buffet meals (mostly sandwiches, salads, quiches, etc.)

Bamboo Cottage (Bakewell – 3 miles) – Chinese take-away (01629 813764)

Max’s Indian Restaurant (Bakewell – 3 miles) – eat in or take-away (01629 814336)

Borivli Indian Restaurant (Bakewell – 3 miles) – eat in or take-away (01629 815489)

There are also plenty of chip shops, sandwich shops and other places to get a hot or cold snack in Bakewell.
