Indoor Heated Pool
After spending the day walking in the Peak District, or visiting some of the many Peak District attractions, why not go for a relaxing swim in our newly-refurbished indoor heated swimming pool - sure to be a hit with all the members of the family! The pool has just enjoyed a complete refurbishment and make-over and is perfect for winding down after a hard day enjoying yourself.  The swimming pool is in the Leisure Centre along with male and female changing rooms and shower and is open from 7am to 10pm all the year round. We aim to keep the pool temperature at a cosy 29 degrees. It is around 9m x 5m so plenty long enough for a proper swim or just a wallow! Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  The swimming pool has already been updated with a new heating and ventilation system offering more consistent water and air temperatures. We are also helping the environment with an air source heat pump which takes heat from the outside air to use to warm the water and air inside. This has reduced electricity consumption by around 70%!    |
